From her workshop in the small village of Scalloway in Shetland, Donna Smith designs and makes a range of hand felted products. Handmade felt is a non woven material created by applying pressure and water to carded fleece. No machinery is used in the production process.
Surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Shetland Isles, she is continually inspired by the changing colours and patterns of the sea, sky and landscape allowing her to create unusual and unique pieces.
