making the world a cuddlier place, one piece of felt at a time …

I am a felt designer/maker, living and working in highland Perthshire.

I developed an obsession with felt making many years ago and still love everything about working with wool, it is a really versatile, natural material with lots of wonderful properties, and is truly renewable as the sheep can always grow another fleece!

My work is mostly inspired by colour - bold bright colours feature very highly in my work at the moment. However, I am also influenced by the landscape in which I live and some of the dusky pinks and purples of the heather clad hills are starting to make an appearance, along with the myriad greens of the trees that surround me.

All of my work is hand felted, either needle or wet felted (sometimes a combination of both), hand cut and hand sewn which means that each item is totally unique and individual.

Range of work:

My current range includes: keyrings; necklaces; ear-rings; bracelets; seasonal decorations; brooches; bag charms; purses; bags; journal covers; hats; bookmarks; scarves; clothing; mobiles; and cards.

I am keen to expand my range with more artistic pieces and am happy to accept commissions.
